Instead of using SLS as a foaming agent, this Environ Cleanser uses decyl-glucoside, a mild surfactant from corn and coconuts. It also uses coco-glucoside as an additional foaming agent and emulsifier, from coconuts and fruit sugars. These botanical and biodegradable ingredients stabilise oil and water and lather up gently without causing dryness.

The body absorbs panthenol, a derivative of pantothenic acid, as Vitamin B5. Its presence in the Environ Cleanser soothes and moisturises the skin, softening the surface while promoting wound healing and reducing inflammation. The result is smooth and hydrated skin with improved elasticity, without any of the irritation or redness associated with many high-foaming cleansers.

For even deeper hydration, it also contains hydrolysed oats (soluble oats made by splitting whole oat molecules with water). This humectant draws in moisture and plumps up the skin, decreasing the visibility of lines and wrinkles. As a co-emulsifier, hydrolysed oats also ensure that your face feels velvet-smooth with no sticky or greasy residue left behind.

Also included within Environ’s low foam cleanser is the ingredient glycerin, an excellent moisturising humectant. Meanwhile, another component, tocopherol (Vitamin E) works as an antioxidant.
