The key active ingredient in this product is its namesake – colostrum. Bovine colostrum is a form of pre-milk lactated by cows in the days after giving birth. Packed with essential nutrients, including dozens of bioactive components, it boosts skin cell regeneration and the skin’s immune system.

Of course, that’s not all – it also contains extra antioxidants. This includes Vitamin C (magnesium ascorbyl phosphate), Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), rosemary leaves extract (rosmarinus officinalis), green tea extract (epigallocatechin gallate), and lavender oil (lavandula angustifolia).

Colostrum is a pre-milk fluid that most breastfeeding mammals produce in the first few days after giving birth (including humans!). It's full of valuable antibodies and growth hormones that stimulate the immune system and tissue repair – known scientifically as immunoglobins and growth factors.

While these are obviously helpful for a newborn baby, they can also help with a variety of health problems in grown adults. Colostrum boosts collagen biosynthesis, promotes wound healing, and protects against tissue damage. All of this translates to renewed, soothed, and fortified skin.

Bioactive ingredients like colostrum are popular in skincare due to their naturally potent benefits. Environ Colostrum Gel contains bovine colostrum, which is sourced from female cows. Unfortunately, this means that it isn't suitable for vegans to use, and may contain trace amounts of lactose.

How to Apply

You can use Environ Colostrum Gel continuously every day, either once in the morning or evening, or both for application twice daily. Use the product as follows:

1) Pre-cleanse, cleanse, and tone your skin with your preferred Environ products.

2) Apply an even layer of Colostrum Gel to the face, neck, and décolletage.

3) Allow the product to dry before following with a Vitamin A-enriched moisturiser.

You can introduce Colostrum Gel at any stage of Environ’s Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM. Always use a sunscreen with SPF15 or above during the day.

If you have a breakout or a particular area of sensitivity, we recommend applying a thicker layer here in the evening and allowing the product to work overnight.
